About the Wodie Crew

Confident and poised like Tay's set puppies.

Venerable and colorful like the flags flying high atop Commonwealth.

Reassuring and comforting like the turn of the K.

Emotional and poignant like Happy crooning on Senior Night.

The Wodie Crew.
Just one common thread: A love for all things UK athletics. Believe that.

UK fans have partied hard for decades. We've celebrated success and reveled in collective joy for years. Hell, we've been keeping it wodie since Richard Stoll first learned to tie his blue and white necktie into a full Windsor.

We memorialize this revelry. Someone takes a picture of our raucous parties, rolls them up and sells them at Kennedy's – Celebration I, Celebration II . And we turn out in droves to buy them and frame them and display them on our shelves… like Little League trophies for grown ups.

The Wodie Crew makes sense, then. That we'd seek out each other, kill it and rehash it until we're satisfied we've gotten it right.

So the atmosphere was ripe. But how did we get here?

A few of us have known each other for years. Others met on the Internet. Others met after talking about meeting on the Internet.

These days, you can't bring hundreds of folks together – all different walks of life – without the help of the old World Wide Web. Seriously, it wouldn't even be right if we had left the Internet out. It would seem cheap and worthless, like an AOL e-mail account.

We have www.catspause.com to blame for a lot of it. A thread here, a thread there. TOWCHP. RPOTD. GYERO.

It's full blown now. Every day talking about every game.

We take on all comers. Just keep your puppies set.
